There comes a point in life where you realize that if you spend too much time listening to everybody else’s opinion of you, you’ll lose the sound of your own spirit.

I’ve had to learn how to trust myself.
Not the version of me that makes other people comfortable.
Not the version shaped by fear, rejection, expectations, religion, family, friendships, or projections.
But the version of me that God intentionally created.

And honestly? That trust didn’t come easy.
It came from surviving seasons where people questioned my character, my vision, my heart, my art, my identity, and my purpose.
It came from realizing that authenticity will always intimidate people who abandoned their own.

But I refuse to betray myself just to be accepted.

I know who I am becoming.
I know the spirit I carry.
I know the love I try to pour into this world.
And even when I feel uncertain, I trust that God did not make me by accident.

So this is your reminder too:
You do not need permission to be who you already are.
Trust your gut.
Trust your spirit.
Trust the quiet voice inside you that keeps calling you back to yourself.

The people meant for you will never require you to abandon your authenticity to earn their love. ✨

Last night felt like watching a dream step fully into reality ✨️

I’m beyond honored to say I get to create, perform, and grow alongside my chosen family — doing what we genuinely love, in spaces bigger than we ever imagined for ourselves until the moment arrived. What a blessing it is to share this journey together.

I also got to share this night with one of my best homies , and my beautiful partner in life — two people who have been present through so many milestones throughout this journey and career. The blessings are absolutely being counted over here, with no bounds of space nor time 💖
