Chasco Fiesta

👁️ June 8-14 is Vision Rehabilitation Week, a time to recognize programs and services that help individuals who are visually impaired or blind live more independent lives.

Many people know the Coronation Ball as a cherished Chasco Fiesta tradition. What many may not realize is that the event also serves a greater purpose.

The 2026 Coronation Ball, hosted by the Lighthouse for the Visually Impaired and Blind; Pasco, Hernando and Citrus, welcomed a record-breaking 345 attendees and generated nearly $75,000 in support of Lighthouse programs and services.

Each year, the Lighthouse provides independent living skills training and support to more than 325 individuals of all ages throughout our community.

As we recognize Vision Rehabilitation Week, we are proud that Chasco Fiesta helps provide opportunities for local nonprofit organizations to raise awareness, build support, and make a lasting impact in the lives of those they serve. 💙

💙💛 A huge thank you to our longtime friends at Meares Plumbing & Meares Plumbing and Electrical for their continued support of Chasco Fiesta and our Street Parade over the years.

Their support reaches beyond the parade route. Meares is also stepping up to support the 7th Annual Mental Health Awareness Bowling Tournament hosted by Reconstructing Hope, helping raise funds that benefit NAMI Hernando and support individuals and families affected by mental illness.
