The Drive Away Golf Outing started last year as my senior project for Mitchell HS. This outing is now a way to keep the memory of my grandfather, John Kubek, alive. He was one of the most amazing people I knew. He died of stage four cancer in his bones, liver and lungs. In 2011 my mother was diagnosed with stage one breast cancer.
