Dan's Dumpster Rentals

Yesterday was "Bring Your Kid to Work Day" at school. Our son was up bright and early at 5 a.m. with me to drop dumpsters then later off to the dump!

There’s something special about bringing your kid to work in the dumpster industry, especially when its your own company! It’s not a fancy office job or a quiet one—it’s early mornings, dirty boots, loud machines, and long days.

Having my son by my side at work, we got to show him first hand what it takes to earn a living with your hands. He got to see the sweat, the problem-solving, the customer service skills, and most importantly the pride in doing the job right the first time. We teach our children that hard work and running your own business is not easy and the days are long but...it isn’t something to shy away from—it’s something to be proud of.

These days teach values, responsibility, grit & respect for a hard day’s work. And maybe one day, he will look back and understand why we did it all.

We are so proud of our little guy. Growing into such a positive, enthusiastic and optimistic boy!
