MORE AND MORE TOYS CONTINUE TO HIT THE SHELVES THIS SUMMER AT PHANTASM AND NUKE'EM COMICS AND COLLECTIBLES...where does it all come from? Well I was going to create a video profiling the collections and between getting a new phone, footage was lost along the way. So here's the tale...

It was the final days of spring and a massive toy collection came my way. I was called out to a storage unit...the doors opened and stacks of boxes fill the 10x20 unit. I open a few boxes, each had a generic brand/franchise label "DC" "MOTU" "SONIC" etc., and they were packed with moc figs. Collection buying is always unpredictable, sometimes a smooth deal sometimes a difficult back and forth. After assessing the lot I made the decision to buy everything...a smooth deal!

Everything turned out to be the exact amount to fit in a 15 foot Uhaul truck...as you can see we packed it to the edge!

With the collection back in my storage I knew I needed to devise a plan to display the collection.

The following days was non stop work to reorganize NUKE'EM COMICS AND COLLECTIBLES to showcase this massive collection. First, I had to sell the tables of 60+ dollar bins just to be able to maneuver the gridwall into place. Then I needed more dollar bins...my usual stop also had the second collection of toys we bought.

The 2nd collection while not nearly as vast had some very cool gi joe figs...a large assortment of STAR WARS vehicles, and a huge amount of FUNKOS (which have been selling very well at Phantasm...who said funkos are dead?) And for some reason I continue to buy posters...many of the posters had water damage so I'll have to do some sorting but there are some great vintage pieces coming out eventually.

Back at Nuke'Em, time to stock...MOTU in the theaters & we have boxes of MOTU figs now, seemed like a great place to start....the collection started its debut with a modern line of toys based on a classic franchise.

We purchased 70+ massive home depot boxes filled with toys, the single biggest toy collection purchase we've made...the collection will also be hitting the road with me at toy shows later this summer and fall...we'll have great deals on figures.
