If you, like the Queen of Hearts here, plan on making (or consuming) tarts and pies this coming week, we have a book recommendation for you!

Though this stained-glass image resides inside Sterling Library, you will *not* find "The Art of Making Tarts" or "The Complete History of Jams" on the shelves.

Instead, you might consider borrowing "Food History Almanac: Over 1,300 Years of World Culinary History, Culture, and Social Influence" by Janet Clarkson, which find in print and online via Quicksearch.

Happy Thanks-reading from Bass Library!..

Attention Seniors & Sophomores: Share your book collection to collect a prize!

The Senior Prize is $1,000, and the Sophomore Prize is $700. Applications are due February 21 at 5:00pm. For more information, visit vansinderen.yale.edu (link in bio).

In 1957, Adrian Van Sinderen (YC 1910) established two prizes— one for seniors and one for sophomores— in order to encourage undergraduates to collect books, build libraries of their own, and read for pleasure and learning.

Last year, senior Al Larriva-Latt (Branford College) won for the collection, "Towards Liberation: Intersectional Q***r Literature."
