Join the City of New Haven’s Transportation, Traffic, & Parking Dept. and the South Central Regional Council of Governments for a visioning workshop for Orchard Street! The project team will share concept plans for traffic safety improvements along three priority segments of the corridor, and seek your feedback on additional design improvements, or other locations for safety countermeasures. The workshop will be held at the Wilson Branch Library at 6pm on Tuesday, January 7th. *Funding for implementation is not secured. The Mobility Study is a high-level concept planning effort. A full engineering study will be conducted pending approval of any design recommendations.

El equipo del proyecto compartirá planes conceptuales para mejorar la seguridad del tráfico a lo largo de tres segmentos prioritarios del corredor y solicitará su opinión sobre mejoras de diseño adicionales u otras ubicaciones problemáticas. El taller se llevará a cabo en la biblioteca de Wilson a las 6 p.m. el martes 7 de enero. *La financiación para la implementación no está asegurada. The City of New Haven is a recipient of the latest Federal funding to make streets and roads safer for all. $400,000 will be invested in Quick-Build solutions, advancing priority projects identified in the Safe Routes for All Citywide Active Transportation Plan.
