One person is dead, two are missing, and hundreds displaced as powerful winds and floods ripped through Indigenous villages like Kipnuk and Kwigillingok, destroying or damaging dozens of homes. ⚠️ The $20M grant was meant to stabilize Kipnuk’s riverbank, shielding the village from flooding and erosion. But EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin—formerly of AFPI (think: backup Project 2025)—revoked the funding, calling it “no longer consistent” with the agency’s priorities, according to The New York Times. 📊 What happened:

📌 EPA administrator bragged about canceling “wasteful DEI and Environmental Justice funding” in February

Calling all artists! Come and collaborate, paint and create an original piece on our wall that will be destroyed at the end of the month in a ceremony of Impermanence of Art.

Why? We needed to paint our wall, so we decided this would be a fun and community driven way to experience art in creation and destruction. We will learn to share and let go.
