Have you ever harvested a bearded hen?

No matter what your opinion is on the matter I was stoked to have the opportunity!! It’s not legal in most states that I hunt annually so being in a state that permitted the harvest I seized the moment.

My thoughts after seeing the population ratio in that state are:
1. The state knows it has an over abundance of hens and needs it regulated.
2. It was perfectly legal and an ethical shot was made.

I do not feel the need to justify my actions but felt I needed to explain for certain people!!!
