A legendary marimbist, composer, and educator, Keiko Abe helped shape the modern marimba as a solo instrument and inspired generations of performers around the world.

🥁Groovin’ Timps – Arnold Riedhammer

A driving and expressive timpani solo, Groovin’ Timps showcases the instrument’s full rhythmic and musical potential, blending precision, groove, and dynamic energy. Featuring a performance by Klaudia Rucińska, this work is a standout addition to the contemporary timpani repertoire.

Composer Arnold F. Riedhammer is an internationally sought-after percussionist and composer whose work spans classical music, rock, pop, and jazz. Born in Somerville, New Jersey, to German parents, his music is known for its strong rhythmic identity and performer-centered approach. Also featured is Rudimental Rumble, an energetic work for Rudimental Percussion Sextet (snare drum, tenor drum, two sets of quads, cymbals, and bass drum).
