A lot of people have asked, "What are you doing now?"

And I don't really have a great answer.

Going from a successful restaurant owner to focusing on my family has been a big transition, and then add in a move to a new city, and honestly? I'm sort of exhausted.

I used this page for awareness, connection, and food as a conduit for my brick & mortar location. But this page has value, even if I'm chasing a new dream. I may have sold my business, but the mission is still clear as day - feed the hungry, mind, body, & spirit.

So, I will continue that. The neat part about working for someone else is that I'll be able to volunteer and keep donating food, without worry for my own financial well being.

My plan moving forward is to use this page a blog, following my work, sharing my thoughts, and creating recipes (both new & old). So, stick around if you wanna read my nonsense. There will be plenty. 😉

Today ended a chapter in my life, and it went just as it was supposed to. A line stretched out the door, hugs and well-wishes from friends, and finally breaking the 20 month standing Wonton Nacho Record.

160 orders, 160 customers, 160 moments of gratitude.

To each and every one of you - thank you. You have supported my family and stood by us as we helped shape Neosho into a better community.

I am so proud of what we have done here. And while I'm excited for what happens next, there is a small piece of my heart that will stay here.

Wonton Nacho Day: The Grand Finale!

I swear, if we don't break the record today, I'm gonna be so disappointed in y'all. 🤣

A few notes, so pay attention - there will be a quiz.

*Everything is getting put in to go boxes today. Our dishwasher already has a whole mess of pots & pans to deal with, and I don't wanna overwhelm them on the last day!

*Despite the go boxes, yes, you may dine in.

*If we don't answer the phone, sorry, but we're busy. A phone order might not happen. That said, our ticket times will be substantially faster today, so if you show up for nachos, you shouldn't have much of a wait.

*We literally have nachos & drinks. If you have a dietary restriction, honestly, there is only so much we can do today. We might have a little bit of sandwich items and some ramen, but 99% of things are completely gone. Ask the staff if you have questions. (They are just gonna come ask me, but it is what it is.)

*There are cupcakes! Buy some nachos, get a cupcake for being cool. Unless you aren't cool, then no cupcakes.

*We will stay open as long as possible. You don't know what that means, and neither do I.
