Hello, Everyone! Emma asked me to introduce myself as the person behind most of GM's posts and emails. My name is Michelle and I've been volunteering for GM for several years now. I'm a local clinical social worker and mom of teens (our youngest has designed many posts as well!). The start of my career was in the world of homeless services and I care deeply about the beautiful work GM does - bringing respectful, empathetic care, connection, and supplies to those living outdoors in Boston. On a recent trip to NYC I was deeply moved by this sculpture outside the Cathedral of Saint John the Divine. It reminded me of the need for continued support for the most vulnerable, and often unseen, members of our communities.
