We are a group of modern quilters and sewists - we welcome members from all over New England, but our meetings are held in the greater Boston area. We meet once a month, usually at Fabric Place Basement in Natick, but occasionally have special programming or meetings off-site. A huge thank you to the New England Quilt Museum for hosting this year’s Summer Celebration—a wonderful (and free!) event that showcases the incredible work of local quilting guilds.

We’re proud to share our guild’s featured submission: Childless Cat Lady by Joyce Husseini, quilted by Amy Kidd.

This stunning quilt is not only visually striking—it’s also sustainably made from upcycled materials like denim and upholstery fabric.

🏆 The guild whose quilt receives the most votes will earn the opportunity to host a special exhibit of its members’ work. What a fantastic way for the museum to support and celebrate local artists!

🗓️ The Summer Celebration runs through September 6, 2025, so don’t miss your chance to visit and cast your vote!

🎨 While you’re there, be sure to check out the powerful exhibit Unfolding Years by Pat Pauly and the dynamic textile art of Marianne R. Williamson in Light and Movement—both are truly inspiring.

Congrats to our Co President, Joyce Husseini for being highlighted in this article! Come check out the exhibit to see this piece and many other transformative works of art at "Recycled: Trash and Treasure: Rediscovered" exhibition at the Menino Arts Center through July 25th.

We are thrilled that our ""Recycled : Trash and Treasure : Rediscovered" exhibition has been reviewed by Artscope Magazine in their July/August issue! Please check out the review at https://artscopemagazine.com/2025/06/turning-trash-into-treasure/ (you do need to be a subscriber to see the whole article).

The show is on display through July 25 both physically at the MAC and virtually in a 3D gallery you can stroll through at https://www.hpaa-mac.org/exhibits/. Gallery Hours are Wednesdays 1 - 4 pm; Thursdays and Fridays 10 am - 4 pm.

Please be advised that there is construction scheduled on Central Avenue from July 9 - 11, so parking near the building will be difficult to find. Best to use the Hyde Park municipal lot between Harvard Avenue and Hyde Park Avenue if coming by car.
