We can be at the top of the mountain and still beat ourselves up for something we didn’t do right or didn’t accomplish something that we or somebody else thought we were supposed to accomplish.
For some reason we can be so hard on ourselves.

I get it. With everything we achieve, there is seemingly always going to be something we feel we didn’t accomplish.

But some days we can only give 80%. And that’s okay. In fact celebrating the fact that we Did do 80% is exactly where we can help change our mindset.

Where we can improve and recognize our value is by understanding that that particular feeling does NOT translate to our self worth or the person that we are. It’s just a moment in time that only allowed us to give 80%. I’m beginning to understand that it’s okay.
100% is almost not realistic on a day to day basis.

Some days it is like “yeah, 100%! Give it all you’ve got!”
Both those other days are like “at least you gave it that full 80%💪”

So learning through my last 10 or so years, it’s almost like a forgiveness pattern that’s allowed myself even more growth.
