The owner, Zac Jenkins, a classically trained chef and former Marine, who has been working on food trucks in Nashville since early 2013. He acquired his passion for food trucking after a 2012 guest appearance on the episode "Music City Madness" on Food Network's "The Great Food Truck Race". Semper Sliders is using a popular method on the west coast of turning a shipping container into a food trailer and setting up in a permanent location.

Huge thank you tonight, the last 10 weeks, and even over the last year for Kirsten Hamilton, Tonya Liz, Eric H Satchell, and John Huffman for covering shifts at Semper. I only made it to my anniversary and closing date because of these 4 and Kendle Fisher, Tom Bradd, and Alessandra Vargas for helping out too. These veterans and paramedic all came to my rescue when I was struggling with staffing!! I love y’all!!
7:30 and we are SOLD OUT. I really thought we could make it a little longer be we had already made a few trips to the store to restock! Thank you so much for helping us go out with a bang!!

We welcome you out over the next three weeks to celebrate 6 years of business. Our last day of business will be Saturday June 17th. I have barely been hanging on since Covid. The last 14 months has been filled with increased inflation, taxes, staffing shortages, and many other costly issues with the trailer while trying to open the brick and mortar. If I can find an affordable lease for a restaurant over the next couple of years we will try and reopen, but I will be closing the trailer. Thank you all so much for being part of this amazing journey.
