The FEP offers unique service opportunities that meet specific needs of families in our program. These include volunteer roles to meet immediate needs (i.e. Home-cooked meals, welcome home teams), transitional needs (i.e. move-in crew, landlord partnerships), and social support needs (i.e. support circles, social event planning). Service opportunities are structured in a way which challenge volunteers' understandings of poverty and how they relate to neighbors in different walks of life. We believe that an intentional focus on friendship can and will make lasting impact on the eradication of homelessness.
