Charlie has put on around 30lb of muscle in the past 3 years by lifting consistently and eating a high protein and clean diet.
Workouts don’t have to be complicated. I use most of my training philosophy from easy strength program. 2-3 Full body workouts per week, including a hinge(bridges), squat, push, pull, and loaded carry. Also, not every session needs to beat you into the ground. Recovery is when you adapt and improve. Especially if you’re also training another sport such as BJJ or MMA.
4 months ago Cole could barely walk without pain due to a herniated lumbar vertebrae. Today he is virtually pain free without needing surgery. We got here by starting with very light weights and body weight exercises, and slowly increasing weights and adding in new movement patterns week to week. He’s stronger and feels better than he has in years.
Dandy has made a ton of progress the past 3 years. Here’s a 200lb Trap Bar deadlift to prove it.
