Royal poincianas (Delonix regia) are bursting into bloom across the Garden, painting the landscape with shades of red and orange. ✨

Native to Madagascar, the royal poinciana belongs to the bean family (Fabaceae), making it a relative of peas, beans, and tamarind.

Come see these fiery blooms for yourself and discover why the royal poinciana is one of the most beloved signs of summer in Southwest Florida! ☀️
