Here’s a simple 4-day itinerary with some of our favorite local spots!

Day 1: Beach Day + Sunset Dinner
Start your morning with coffee at Mercato, just minutes away. From there, hop on one of the bikes at the house and take the 10-minute ride to Vanderbilt Beach.

Our VRBO is stocked with everything you need for an easy beach day including 4 bicycles, a wagon, beach chairs, umbrellas, and a cooler so you can pack up and head straight to the sand.

For dinner, make a reservation at The Turtle Club right on Vanderbilt Beach. It’s one of our favorite spots for fresh seafood and a beautiful sunset dinner with your toes practically in the sand.

Day 2: Day Trip to Marco Island
Take a 45-minute drive south to Marco Island, one of the most beautiful beaches in Southwest Florida.

The beach here is known for its super fine white sand and incredible shelling. It’s the perfect place for a relaxed beach day and long walks along the water.

For lunch, head to The Snook Inn in Olde Marco, a waterfront restaurant with a huge outdoor bar, live music, and great views of boats passing through the marina.

End the day at Sunset Grille, located right on the south end of the beach. Grab a drink, order dinner, and watch the sunset over the Gulf with your toes in the sand.

Day 3: Gulf Fishing Charter
Spend the morning on the water with a 4-hour Gulf fishing charter with Day 5 Charters.

Our trip was incredible we caught red snapper and sheepshead, and the captain knew exactly where to take us to find fish.

One of the best parts is they will fillet your catch for you, and you can either cook it back at the house or bring it to a nearby restaurant that will prepare it for you.

Day 4: Pool Day + Dinner at Mercato
Enjoy a relaxed morning by the pool back at the house before heading out for your final evening in Naples.

For dinner, return to Mercato, which has some of our favorite restaurants in Naples. A couple of great options are:
• Burntwood Tavern – relaxed atmosphere with great food
• Taberna Burntwood – Spanish-inspired tapas and cocktails
• Violi Naples – elevated Mediterranean cuisine

Basement refresh 🤎
Our lower level has such a different vibe than the main floor—warmer, cozier, and a little moodier with the natural stone, wood tones, and warm neutral walls.

I’ve honestly never shown this space before because it was minimally decorated… but I’m finally adding a few simple cozy touches to make it feel elevated while still relaxed and welcoming.

The bar area is my favorite detail ✨ the natural stone wall with shelves + backlighting, black granite counters with golden flecks, our handmade whiskey barrel table, and the sweetest finishing touch—the US flag art my son made 🇺🇸🤍

It’s also the perfect spot for entertaining—abundant seating, the bar area, and plenty of room for games (poker, shuffleboard, ping pong… you name it). We love having family gatherings down here 🫶

Fireplace details 🤍
We chose Fond du Lac Natural Sandstone in White Castle and it’s still one of my favorite decisions in our home. It blends warm + cool tones so beautifully for a look that feels timeless, elevated, and easy to style in every season. TV + fireplace setup tip 🤍
To get that clean, flush TV look, we pre-cut the TV box into the sheetrock and mounted the bracket inside it—then the stone was installed right around the opening for a seamless finish.
