Naples METAL ART

Coco Gallery in the Coastland Center, Naples is up and running and we're proud to be part of a really beautiful gallery with really nice people. A few of our pieces are ready for viewing and for sale. A December 13 reception is being held in the gallery with hot cocoa and Bailey's Irish Creme and snacks. Come by from 5 to 7 and feast your eyes on some really creative art.

COLD CAST METAL SCULPTURE:
FINE ART
The cold-cast process is faster and much less expensive when compared with foundry casting of molten metal (lost wax process). This finished piece has the appearance and durability of solid metal so it may be displayed out-of- doors as well as on interior walls.
An image is hand sculpted from wood. Then each piece is assembled in a 3-D format and covered with multiple layers (Naples Metal Art uses 6 layers) of ground bronze, copper, pewter, iron, brass or silver, suspended in an acrylic base. Special patinas, waxes or other materials are then applied to create unique finishes.
In some cases designs are also enhanced with paint intended for coating metal. These pieces are also safe for exterior mounting since they are initially coated in metal.
