On Wednesday, March 20, Chef Mike Cordero and his Cordero Hospitality team, which include his two sons Nick and Anthony Cordero and interior designer Yvette Irene Design, celebrated the unveiling of Carbonara: Old School Italian & Wine Bar in Ballston during a private grand opening event. The 4,000-square-foot indoor and outdoor restaurant is located at 3865 Wilson Boulevard and is an old-world Italian ristorante serving classico wines. Invited guests and members of the media enjoyed bites from the menu and numerous pours of specialty cocktails and Italian vinos from the wine bar. Carbonara offers a substantial menu featuring classic Italian cuisine, focusing on the southern region of Italy, with all food made in-house and fresh homemade pasta prepared daily. Carbonara is now open and offers takeout and buyout options for private events. Mike Cordero serves as executive chef. Well done, Cordero Hospitality!👏
