"I graduated from the first year the NHSM was offered in 1990/1991. I remember how exciting it was to be learning the Word of God from the instructors we had then. Through the years, the curriculum has changed but never the heart of the school. Pastor Grant’s vision was “the Christian man/woman on the street” so to speak would be equipped in the Word and grow in confidence to share their faith with family, friends, neighbors, co-workers and the community.

I have always loved and valued my time in school and see it as one of the most profound periods in my life. When someone spends that much time in the Word, it changes you.

Isa 55:11 KJV: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

This verse assures anyone that goes through the school, God accomplishes, and He prospers His Word! WOW! That’s worth the investment! I have seen lives changed, marriages saved, marriages made, and lasting friendships connected throughout the years of NHSM.

I tell people I am still operating on the fulfillment of His Word all these years later! I see the school as an eternal investment that God continuously builds His truth upon. A rock-built foundation that weathers all life’s storms.

I have always valued the New Hope School of Ministries, and I’ve been involved for many years as administrative assistant and now director. If someone had told me when I attended, one day I would be the director of the school, I would have either laughed to the point of snorting (I do that when I laugh hard) or run away!

But God has His plans for all of us. What does He have is store for you?"
