David’s father Karl Schaefer was born in Germany and learned his trade from some of Germany’s finest furriers. Generations worth of information was handed down to Karl Schafer while in Frankfurt. Karl moved to Northeastern Pennsylvania in 1967 and opened RK Furs in 1968. We are still in our original Alden, PA location, serving Northeastern Pennsylvania and surrounding areas since 1968.
