Why jiu jitsu in Nacogdoches?

Well, the best answer is, why not?

It's a thinking man's martial art that also happens to be one of the most useful out there. Which martial arts do most of your professional fighters have to learn to be effective? Boxing, wrestling, and jiu jitsu. All are fine arts in and of themselves and if possible, should be learned together (which I'd love to do), but of the 3, jiu jitsu is the only one that doesn't rely on you to have better reflexes, greater strength, or supernatural punching power. Doesn't mean you can be a lazy slob and get good at it and there are no "special" or "secret" techniques that don't require hard work and discipline to have an advantage (no finger pokes of death), but it does allow for anyone who's willing to put the time and effort in to not only get good at it, but also hold an advantage over 99% of the world.

With that in mind, I plan on sharing what I'm learning and what I know with whoever's interested here in Nacogdoches, and when I can, I'll get out and find gyms I can train at so I can continue to grow my knowledge, skills, and abilities as well.
