Today marks SIX years since I started working at WPDE!

In that time I've won one Emmy and forecasted 119 tropical systems, a few snowy events and lots of sunshine and Carolina rain. I have had over 150 shelter BESTIES on Good Morning Carolinas and have also gotten the chance to interview some fantastic people around from our community! And even as of late, bring you traffic updates for your morning commute.

Outside of my professional accolades, in my time here, I have met wonderful friends who have become like family, met my amazing husband right here in these very station halls and have spent countless hours out and about enjoying everything Myrtle Beach has to offer and getting to see it grow exponentially in a short amount of time.

Lastly, I can't say enough of what I owe to all of you at home who make waking up at 1 AM a little less difficult and to the leaders at the station who have built me up and mentored me through the early years of my career.

This little lady is named Sadie and she is my BESTIE this week 💕 she definitely has a puppy personality and energy and will be the perfect addition to any home 🥹 this girl definitely knows how to make you smile with her sweet eyes and wagging tail and just when you think she can't get any cuter she comes in for snuggles and kisses 🥰
