Public Health - Muskegon County

The governmental public health agency has a unique role to see that vital elements are in place and the mission is adequately addressed. This role is accomplished by implementation of the core functions of public health: assessment of information on the health of the community, comprehensive public health policy development and the assurance that public health services are provided in the community.
