Before any other shrubs had yet appeared on earth, God created a garden for a home. Flowers, trees, plants, and shrubs; all impact us. Scientific studies show that ther
e is a profoundly positive impact on humans when they are around flowers and plants; not just physically, but mentally and emotionally as well. So, what better place to call home for the first humans on Earth, than a garden. In this 21st century of our planet, many have walked away from the traditions of old. Now, magnificent gardens are most commonly found only at far away castles, botanical gardens, and getaway resorts. But, I believe there is more for us. My name is Coty Sloan, and I created 'Restoring Eden' as a way to revive creative and fulfilling gardening for everyone. Garden Clubs have historically consisted of a room full of expert horticulturalists who are gifted with a golden thumb, forget the green one. But there is room for you at that table. As you set out on your own journey to explore the joy of plants and flowers, you will be intrigued by a great principle; the more I learn, the less I know. There are so many joys that come from taking the time to care for the spaces we've been given and to sow into the lives of others.
