In Muskegon County, that translates to more than 21,000 adults. The adverse effects of illiteracy are felt in our economic, education, criminal justice, and healthcare systems. Read Muskegon is breaking the generational cycle of illiteracy by providing customized programs that meet the unique needs of our learners and building community partnerships to maximize our impact.

We’ve officially closed up shop at the place we proudly called home for the past nine years.

The space held so much more than offices and classrooms. It was where friendships were built, goals were achieved, confidence grew, and countless lives were changed. Every room holds memories of learners, volunteers, supporters, staff, and community members who helped make Read Muskegon what it is today.

While it’s a little bittersweet to say goodbye to the place that served us so well, we’re incredibly excited for what’s ahead. Will always cherish the memories we made here, and can’t wait to create many more in our new home. 💙
