New technology for reading and writing to a hard drive in a working environment. This is called a RAID controller. This one has 4 hard drives inside. Samsung 9100 Pro 4TB (4 terabytes each) and then set the drives to RAID 10. Mirror two drives, then the other two, and then mirror both. It is the fastest data access and transfer I have ever witnessed. For a server/workstation, it is superb. If you decide to do a gamer, it surpasses anything on the market. It comes with a price tag, but when you need the speed and help with your productivity, this gets the job done. Almost 50GB per second read and 27gb write. This is the HighPoint RocketRAID 7604A. A 4-drive RAID controller, it even emails you for any error or issue the card may have along with a rebuild of the drives in case a hard drive fails and you have to replace one. Love the redundancy and the speed. Excellent performance.
