We let the 440 block cure, then scuffed it with a grey scotch pad, hit some clear then unmasked it. She looks so good!! Time to balance that crank and start assembly, hopefully this week! 🏁🤘🏼

Machine shop fun! New episode will come out soon on our YouTube channel Fanelli Restorations🏁 we’ve got Alex’s 440 block for her duster bored, pistons and rods are balanced, and today we machined the main caps, installed the main studs and torqued to spec so it can be line bored, then got the block set in the honing machine and locked down the deck plate (or torque plate) to replicate cylinder head torque on the block for an even hone. Well let it sit overnight and then get that sweet crosshatch on her tomorrow ⚔️. Once the block is final honed and line honed we can get the crank balanced💪🏼 I’m so stoked for you babe! 🇺🇸😎💪🏼
