This Saturday I’m playing a very special show put on by Rooted in Gold that is focused around BIPOC artists and musicians at the Onyx in Sandy UT. This event is so special because it invites us to remember and imagine together the past, present and future as we honor our cultural histories, express our stories, and imagine a life beyond colonization. A life focused on community, creativity and harmony with the earth.

My goal through my music has always been to reconnect with my ancestry. To let the stories of my ancestors speak, and that’s why I feel connected to and inspired by this event. Hope to see you there. April 4th we are playing our first ‘s event at which will be a prohibition themed evening inspired by the movie, SINNERS. Beyond excited to share the stage with such talented musicians and artists of all kinds.
