NO MORE "BORROW PITS" FOR MIDDLE POINT!
The Rutherford County Board of Zoning Appeals will meet on March 11 at 4:30 p.m. to consider a proposal for another "borrow pit" at a property next to the Middle Point Landfill. Dirt would be removed from the site near a residential area and sold for use at Middle Point. The board meeting will be held in the Commission Chambers on the 2nd floor of the Historic Rutherford County Courthouse.
TAKE ACTION: Tell the Board of Zoning Appeals that you are opposed to the borrow pit!
1) contact members of the Board of Zoning Appeals ahead of the March 11th meeting and
2) attend the meeting and show that residents are paying attention to decisions that impact our community.
