Yesterday, I was at a special bird walk with Richard Candler. He is an excellent birder from the Sewanee area and has co-authored a book about good birding locations to find different species in this region. We had a good bit of nesting activities and fledglings. I also spent the prior night in a 1890's home. This is such a beautiful community preserving history and it continues to make history as people live their lives there. See photos for captions.
