Based in the idea that those affected by injustice are their own most effective advocates and that the arts offer a unique opportunity to amplify the voices of those that typically go unheard, The Lavinia Project seeks to provide a forum in which survivors of domestic and sexual violence can share their stories through writing and other mediums in order to raise awareness and affect social change.
Come to our meeting today at 3:30! We will be decorating a tri-fold, getting together pieces for a zine, practicing reccording for our upcoming podcast and, of course, workshopping some new and old pieces 😊
