We are sad to announce the passing of Porter Garrett late last evening.

Porter battled neurodegenerative disease that forced him to retire from his lifelong passion of the used car business in 2021 after 61 wonderful years.

Porter spent his last few years in long-term care, where he quickly became one of the most popular and talkative residents… making playful jokes with his caregivers and affectionately referring to them as “babe,” “sweetie,” and “honey” as Porter was always known to do.

While Porter’s health declined rapidly in the last few months, we were happy he recently made it to his 85th birthday. We find comfort in knowing he is rejoicing in Heaven and reunited with his parents, four siblings, and other loved ones.

To accommodate traveling family, services will be held on Saturday November 15th at:

Calling will be 11:00am to 1:00pm.
Funeral will be at 1:00pm.
