It's time to grab your costumes and join us for a spooktacular 10th Street Trunk or Treat event! 🕸️🕷️

The CDC recommends getting vaccinated against influenza by the end of October. Free to low-cost flu shots are available throughout the city, and one is coming up on Thursday, Oct. 3:

Meridian Health Services invites the community to "Flu‐Lapalooza," a free one‐day flu shot clinic on Thursday, Oct. 3, from 1 to 6 p.m. or until supplies last at Meridian Health Pediatrics, 200 N. Tillotson Ave. and at the Meridian School Clinic (Southside Middle School), 1601 E. 26th St.

People ages 6 months and older can get the flu shot during "Flu‐Lapalooza." No insurance is necessary, and no out‐of‐pocket fees apply. People are not required to be a Meridian patient to obtain a flu shot at one of the participating locations. Walk‐ins are welcome.
