On April 1st, 1793, Morgan's Station was attacked by a group of Shawnee and Cherokee. Over the next several days, 14 settlers would lose their life.
Our next meeting will take place at Morgan's Station (3751 Harper's Ridge) on Monday, June 22. The historical society will provide the food and drinks. Dinner will begin at 6:00 PM, and a tour of the grounds and stone home (circa 1795) will follow at 7:00 PM.
