Join us for exciting events such as themed public skates, figure skating shows, hockey games, and plenty more frosty fun. We are a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide a safe and pleasant facility and environment for ice activities and programs that benefit all citizens of Isabella County.
Yesterday, while working through our seasonal shutdown procedures, our ice-resurfacing machine experienced an equipment failure. The facility was unscathed, the equipment sustained minor damages, and most importantly, our employee avoided serious harm, only sustaining minor injuries. He was evaluated at a local hospital and released the same day.
We want to recognize and praise our employee for his courageous efforts yesterday. Due to his quick thinking and calm demeanor, he was able to deescalate the situation rapidly. We are incredibly grateful for his actions.
