If you’ve got a piece you want refinished or need a tip on how to start please reach out! I don’t have any fun staged photos of the finished piece but this dresser was massive and had such a gorgeous grain beneath the black paint! I used some veneer strips around the top board and the mirror top - there was mdf under the veneer so the sides were all pretty raw looking. There were originally some fluted plastic ornamental pieces but since we were going for the all wood look those needed to be replaced, which required a heat gun, lots of scraping and some creative thinking - but I think we got there in the end with the pole-wrap and the small trim pieces. The black hardware polishes it off and I’m so glad it will be put to use for a long time to come!
