Not many Morristown neighborhood realtors can say they lived around the world. However, RE/MAX realtor Dottie Ballestero can. Dottie was born and grew up in New England and later attended Ohio University where she met her husband. After they were married, Dottie and her husband went to graduate school for International Marketing in Phoenix, Arizona. After graduation, Dottie's husband worked for a
large multi-national American company and was sent around the world for business matters. They lived in South America, Europe, the west coast of the US, and then finally Butterworth. The Butterworth Farms section of Morris Township is known for its family-oriented activities and community awareness. Dottie and her family fell in love with the custom built homes and the rich architecture of the neighborhood and made the area their home. Before Dottie achieved her real estate license, she was a tournament bridge player. She was also active in an organization that raised money for Morristown Memorial Hospital. She has been a realtor for 20 years and very active in her Butterworth neighborhood. In fact for the past 15 years or so Dottie has run the annual Butterworth Garage Sale, a major neighborhood success. Besides being an accomplished cook, Dottie and her family love to go to New York City to visit museums, restaurants, and see Broadway plays. Of course, her favorite pastime is spending time with her children and grandchildren in her beautiful home.
