If you can't love a dog like a family member…Don't get one. 💔😭

This heart-wrenching photo captures the stark contrast between human cruelty and animal compassion. Milly, the dog on the stretcher, has suffered unimaginable abuse. She was ridiculed, painted, tied up, dragged behind a car, and ultimately sh--o--t. Her ordeal is a testament to the depths of human cruelty.

Yet, amidst this darkness, there is a glimmer of hope. A Border Collie, also a victim of abuse, approaches Milly with tenderness. Despite their own suffering, this compassionate dog stays by Milly's side, offering comfort and support. It's a powerful reminder that even in the face of cruelty, there are beings who show unwavering kindness and solidarity. ❤️

Before leaving the hospital one of the doctors asked if we had cats or dogs I told her "yes both" She asked what kind of dog and I said "blue nose pitbull" The doctor then replied "Oh no, keep the dog away from the baby".....obviously I was offended but I just kept my mouth shut. Any who....this is our precious Pitbull and baby boy! Pits have such a bad rep but here we are🤷🏽‍♀️❤️😍

We just got out of the shelter and got in the car... If they ask me what happiness means I will show this pic!!!!!

I did not bring you into this world, but I slept on my belly.

I didn't take you on the swings, but we spent hours in the park together.
I don't protect you from bullying, but if someone growls or attacks you, I defend you tooth and nail against anyone.
I don't teach you to write and draw, but I teach you to be polite.
I challenge you, punish you and forgive you like a father.
I miss you when I do not see you.
I take you everywhere with me, and I think of you as a son. At night I wake up to see if you sleep next to me, I look at you and caress you.
You do not have my blood, but between the two there is a unique bond.
Happy day to the people who take care of our pets like a son who does not speak, but who tells us I love you with his eyes.
Happy day to all the people who love their pets with parental love.”
