We do ourselves a disservice when all of our focus is on every story having a happy ending in this life. It's far more important that there be a meaningful middle.

Face your fears and you will be able to conquer them. If you evaluate your fearful thoughts, you will notice that they all have to do with something in the future, not the immediate present. Focus on what is right in the present moment, not on what may happen down the line. Someone once said: "The brave and courageous have the best lives. They're seldom sorry." Live your life with courage and you will have few regrets.

A nursery in Canada displays this sign on its wall: "The best time to plant a tree is twenty-five years ago...The second best time is today." Plant the tree of self-discipling in your life today for a successful future.

If you have a successful life, it will be because of three words that you follow. If you lack any one of these three, it will mean failure. The first word is "Purpose." The word "purpose" means "why a thing exists." Why am I here? Why did God make me? The second word is "Potential." "Potential means you're doing all you can do, and fulfilling your best at whatever purpose God has placed you here to do. We are to do all we can do in the purpose that God has called us to do. The third word is "Principle." What is the principle? The principle is the guard rail that keeps me in my purpose, reaching my potential. Purpose, Potential, Principles...together they will lead you to a successful life. Let's go make it a great day!!!

Character isn't built overnight; it is built slowly over a lifetime. It is the sum of every sensible choice, every honorable decision, and every honest word. It is forged on the anvil of sincerity and polished by the virtue of truth. Character is a precious thing - preserve your at all costs.

Uncertainty when not clarified, will bring doubt. And doubt in the purpose and plan or the means to accomplish it is a deathblow for a leader and his team. Doubt causes you to question your past actions and current thinking. You can't move forward with confidence and conviction when you have doubt. Doubt can be eliminated by mentally rehearsing what can go wrong and having contingency plans worked out that provide you set actions in advance. Plan for change, plan in case you fail, but have a built-in redundancy. As the old saying wisely says: "Two is one and one is none."
