Where did they all go? Fans filled grandstands & events at AMA Pro Nationals and featured Fair Races in the 1960's and 1970's making schedule race events above 70 races per year. Gas was less than $ 0.40 cents per gallon a fast motorcycle cost $2-3k. A new Van-Hauler was $4k ordered with all the options you wanted. More than 200 racers would come to qualify for events Wednesday - Sunday's weekly. 20 plus Indoor's were popular in every corner of the country in the winters.
