Do you want to work for a fun, exciting clinic? We are hiring a full time Doctor's Assistant. We are looking for someone that has great computer skills, can multi-task, and loves to learn new things. This person must have a positive attitude and a friendly personality and can multi-task. With these skills we will be willing to train the right candidate. Starting pay is $12.00 an hour. But wait... in addition to $12 an hour, you get medical, dental, life, and long-term disability insurance. You also get 401k match, paid vacation, and free eye exams for you and your family. Dr. Melanie Newcomer

She grew up and still resides in Norman, Oklahoma. Dr. Newcomer received her Bachelor’s in Chemistry from OU, and she graduated from NSUOCO in 2018. She’s a member of the American Optometric Association and the Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians.

Fun fact: Dr. Newcomer got her private pilots license in 2012!

Her hobbies include spending time with family and friends, community volunteering (both eye and non-eye related 🙂), traveling (prior to covid ☹️) and baking (especially cookies). She has two furbabies named Remi and Kitty!
