Engine 2 had a great time visiting EduCare Academy & Childcare today! ๐Ÿš’๐Ÿ˜Š

Our firefighters spent the morning with approximately 40 amazing children, ages 2โ€“4, sharing what itโ€™s like to be a firefighter and teaching important fire safety lessons in a fun and interactive way.

The kids had the opportunity to get hands-on with firefighting equipment, explore Engine 2 up close, and meet the firefighters who serve their community every day. There were plenty of smiles, questions, and excitement as our youngest community members learned all about fire trucks and the people who ride them!

Thank you to the staff and students at EduCare Academy & Childcare for the warm welcome. We always enjoy opportunities to connect with our community and help make learning about fire safety fun!

๐Ÿ”ฅ Working Fire Knocked Down on Bell Gables! ๐Ÿ”ฅ

This evening, E-15, E-13, T-46, R-92, and Car 32 responded to a possible structure fire on Bell Gables.

E-15 arrived to find visible smoke and quickly upgraded the incident to a working fire. Crews made an aggressive interior attack, successfully confining the fire to the room of origin and preventing further spread throughout the home.

T-46 completed both primary and secondary searches with an all clear reported. Thankfully, there were no injuries to civilians or firefighters.

Unit 57 is on scene investigating the cause of the fire, and Chaplain Presley is assisting the occupants during this difficult time.

Great teamwork by all responding crews to bring this incident under control quickly and safely! ๐Ÿš’๐Ÿ’ช
