Thank you to Health Facility Institute for welcoming our design experts, Shavon Charlot, Shaun Bott, and Simon Hurst, to share our experience delivering healthcare infrastructure in Pacific environments.
Our session focused on the unique challenges of designing and delivering healthcare facilities in the Pacific, where limited infrastructure, environmental vulnerability, and complex logistics require a different way of thinking. From material shortages to constrained technical support, these conditions push our planners, architects, and engineers to develop resilient, high-performing design strategies that continue to inform our current and future projects.
We look forward to continuing this conversation and invite colleagues to engage in meaningful ways to better serve healthcare communities in environmentally challenging regions.
