EMG Partner Spotlight: Dr. Eric Stanford, DO from TOC-The Orthopaedic Center

An Alabama native, Dr. Eric Stanford is board-certified in orthopaedic surgery and sports medicine. He specializes in a wide range of conditions, including rotator cuff and knee ligament injuries, as well as total hip, knee, and shoulder replacements. He also provides advanced treatments such as stem cell therapy and Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) treatment.

Dr. Stanford earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and his medical degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. He completed his orthopaedic surgery training at St. Mary's Medical Center in Missouri and a specialized sports medicine fellowship at the Hughston Clinic in Georgia. His experience includes serving as a team physician for the Kansas City Comets soccer team and working with athletic teams at Auburn University and Valdosta State University.

Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Stanford serves as an adjunct professor at both the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM) and the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine. Outside of work, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and ATV riding with his wife and two sons, and he is an avid fan of Auburn football.
