Today marks my final day serving as Principal of Dannelly Elementary School and my last day with Montgomery Public Schools. As I close this chapter, my heart is overflowing with gratitude.

To every student who walked through our doors, thank you for allowing me to be a part of your journey. Never stop believing in yourselves. You are capable of achieving incredible things, and I will forever be one of your biggest cheerleaders.

To our families, thank you for trusting me with your greatest treasures. Your partnership, encouragement, and support helped make Dannelly a place where children could grow, learn, and thrive. Together, we celebrated victories, overcame challenges, and built a community centered on what matters most—our students.

To the incredible faculty and staff, thank you for your dedication, sacrifice, and commitment to children. The work of an educator is not easy, but it is one of the greatest callings there is. Thank you for believing in our vision, embracing change, and giving your hearts to our Bulldogs each and every day. I will always treasure the relationships we've built and the work we accomplished together. Serving as your principal has been one of the greatest honors of my career. Together, we transformed more than data—we transformed culture, strengthened relationships, raised expectations, and created opportunities for students to believe in themselves.

To Montgomery Public Schools, thank you for 20 years of opportunities to serve, lead, and grow. This district helped shape the educator and leader I am today, and I will always be grateful for the colleagues, mentors, students, and families who have been part of my journey.

My heart has always belonged to children. That will never change. Wherever God leads me, my mission remains the same: to help students believe in themselves, inspire educators to pursue excellence, and create schools where every child knows they are seen, valued, and capable of greatness.

Keep believing. Keep growing. Keep dreaming. Keep achieving.

With love and endless gratitude,

Aundria L. Sewell
