Doulas are our favorite! This past week was World Doula Week, an opportunity to celebrate those who provide physical, emotional and informational support during the childbearing year. Did you know that at milkwell 3 of us have been or currently are also practicing doulas in addition to lactation consultants?! How fun! And those team members who aren’t actually doulas were also chosen to be on the team BECAUSE of their doula heart and approach to care. We do care. We want to help you meet your goals but we also want you to feel cared for. We will share, teach, guide, counsel and help you feel SEEN in the process. In the same way as your birth doula had your back(and your hips with hip squeezes to ease some of the pressure) and your postpartum doula helps protect your heart and navigate new parenthood we got your heart and your b***s (to help ease some of the pressure there too!).
