New Jersey Stage named her "blistering cover of Hendrix's 'Crosstown Traffic'" Makin' Waves Song of the Week. Jorgen Carlsson (Gov't Mule) played bass on Devi's previous EP A Zillion Stars Overhead. Produced by Devi and mixed by Sylvia Massy, Americana Highways calls it "exciting and mesmerizing." Live, Devi leads "a fierce guitar-driven band equally adept at soulful rockers and sprawling jams" (NY Music Daily), with Kevin Jones on bass, Martin Schmid on keys and John Roccesano on drums. Devi is the first female guitarist to endorse Homestead Amplifiers, which supplies amps to Gov’t Mule, Jimmy Herring, Susan Tedeschi. Devi's book The Language of the Blues: From Alcorub to Zuzu (foreword by Dr. John) won the ASCAP Deems Taylor Award.
